Given the kind of lifestyle people have these days, eyes are prone to several eye-related problems and dry eyes are one of the major ones. In this age of digital arena, where 95 out of 100 people use laptops, desktops and their mobile phones for almost 12-16 hours of a day; people tend to have their dried eye tissues that can lead to severe eye problems. As per a study conducted by LV Prasad Eye Institute (LVPEI), by 2030, 275 million Indians could be affected by dry eye disease. Carrots

Carrots have long been suggested by our elders for having good eye vision. They are rich in beta-carotene and vitamin A, which play an important role in eye vision. It has a protein called rhodopsin that helps retina in light absorption.

Dragon fruit

These days, you can easily find dragon fruit in your nearby market and it does help a lot in getting better eyesight. The antioxidants present in this fruit can nourish and protect the cornea of the eye.

Leafy green vegetables

Vegetables like kale, spinach and collards are found to be rich in lutein and zeaxanthin, which protect eyes from sunlight damage and reduce the risk of cataracts.
